Southern Literature Resources in the Special Collections: The Special Collections hold several different collections of Southern Literature, from books written by the Fellowship of Southern Writers, to letters from the Agrarian writers of the early 1900s, and a collection of material by and about Southern novelist Caroline Gordon. The John T. Wilder Letters: The Civil War letters and documents of Union General and Chattanooga citizen and industrialist, John T. Wilder. Original Patten Chapel Blueprints: Recently discovered, the 1915 blueprints from this campus landmark. Prints have been inverted from original blue color for clarity. Click on each print for a larger view. The University Historical Photograph Collection: Early University Photographs : Photographs from the early days of the University up to the 1969 merger. Early University Sports Photographs: Photographs of early baseball and football teams, games, coaches and events. The Presidents and Chancellors of Chattanooga University, Grant University, the University of Chattanooga, and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, 1886-present. Chattanooga Post Cards: Early 20th Century Chattanooga Post Cards : This digitized exhibit includes scenes from early 20th century Chattanooga and the outlying area. More to come! |
