In an effort to increase use of the circulating book collection, Lupton Library will be launching new borrowing policies on the first day of fall classes. Here are some of the highlights:

• No more overdue fines on regular, circulating book and audiovisual materials!
• The Library will continue to bill for lost and damaged items, as well as include a processing fee for these materials.    
• Longer loan periods for books! Due dates for students and staff will be the end of the current semester. Faculty will have until the end of the current academic year.
• Longer loan periods for AV items, too! Students and staff will be able to check out AV materials for 7 days. Faculty will have 14 days.
• And, you can check out more AV materials at one time! Students and staff can check out 10 items, and faculty can check out 20.
