The Reference Department at Lupton Library offers a wide range of user-friendly services designed to make your academic experience at UTC productive and engaging. The Information Desk on the ground floor of Lupton Library is the headquarters for the Reference Department and there you'll find friendly, knowledgeable professionals who are familiar with both your assignments and with the collections of the library. Reference librarians can direct you to the appropriate resources, both print and online, that you need to prepare your term papers and research projects. They can also assist you in citing your sources properly using APA, MLA or whatever style your professor prefers. Librarians also assist users in working with the PCs in the Research Lab area of the ground floor. All library Public PCs now have the Microsoft Office Suite as well as access to the library catalog and over 100 subject specific databses. No matter what your research question, a Reference Librarian can probably help you answer it. So stop by, call us, email us or IM us with your questions and we'll help you find the answers.
