The Serpent Handler Interviews collection is a series of nearly 200 DVDs of filmed interviews and church services that follow the tradition of "taking up serpents." To get at the awareness of what such an experience means to believers, the structure of each interview was open-ended and was begun with the same initial question: "Can you think of a particular time that you have taken up a serpent, and can you describe in as much detail as possible what that experience was like?" What followed for approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours were detailed descriptions of specific events of serpent handling--some of which included bites and near-death experiences. Also included in many interviews were personal narratives and descriptions of various personal experiences such as witnessing fatal bites, being devinely healed, ingesting poison (another Mark 16 sign), and experiencing the anointing. Some restrictions apply.
