The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is always interesting in acquiring important manuscripts, personal papers, books, documents, and other items to add to the Special Collections. The acquisition policy gives preference to items and collections dealing with local and state history, the Civil War, historical items, rare books, and personal papers of prominent citizens and local politicians.
